Why I think that the AIRR Act Will Have a Positive Impact on U.S. Aviation

Thursday last week, the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee approved H.R.4441, the Aviation Innovation, Reform and Reauthorization (AIRR) Act. The measure still needs to be approved by the full U.S House before advancing to the full Senate and finally the president, a process which will take months. FAA Started IASA Audit of Thailand

According to this article in Aviation Week, the FAA has started its audit to determine whether to downgrade Thailand from Category 1 to Category 2, which could have consequences for Thai's flight from Bangkok to Los Angeles (via Incheon). If the downgrade happens, other countries could follow and impose restrictions on airlines based in Thailand. Read
