During my time at Lufthansa Cargo, I was based in Vienna and worked with the director for Austria, Eastern- & South Eastern Europe, Turkey and Israel. As the title suggests, work never got boring. Coordinating between more than 20 countries sometimes proved to be quite difficult, but it certainly was a worth wile experience.

Among other things I was in charge of:

• Administration and analysis of key account and market data — it doesn’t sound interesting but it actually was .. imagine having access to gigabyte of data and you need to coax out just the right information
• Capacity monitoring and steering of freight allotments — wow let me tell you that the cargo business can actually pretty stressful when you can’t fill your freight allotment

First and foremost, I got a first impression on working at Lufthansa – and it was great!
